It seems like not that long ago when a very modern home was the latest style and all the rage. Perhaps it has something to do with the enormous popularity of HGTV's 'Fixer Upper' and Joanna Gaines' farmhouse chic style, but the tides have turned to a more by transitional or classic decor, with still modern elements. This is especially evident in the latest bathroom and kitchen styles.
Classic looks such as white marble, subway tile, white cabintry. Simple, clean, classic looks are what we are seeing today which are even veering to the traditional. A cool look that is coming back in style is the fish scale pattern backsplash. Clear glass pendants, elegant vanity lighting, and there's still space for a show stopping modern chandelier (like the Burst or Fiama) or more traditional lighting piece. Also, vintage lighting is starting to come back on trend. Check out these simple, classic pendants: Beacon, Sara, or Isella for your kitchen or bath.
Grey. What hasn't been popular in grey in the last few years? Grey flooring, grey walls, grey cabinets... As it turns out, grey is going to start fading in trend. However, it looks like an almost equally popular color blush pink, will still be going strong in paint, pillows, accents and furniture. Other pastels will start showing up as well.
Florals. Big bold florals are becoming popular. Something that comes in and out over the years, florals are back in, and we can't say we are not excited about them!
Warm is in. Rust, copper, browns, warmer greys. This is starting to replace the cooler palette that has been in style the last few years. Even sinks will start showing use of more earthy materials such as copper or granite.
Spa inspired bathrooms. Clean lines, luxurious looking bathrooms are everyones escape. Let us help you with some of these trends. Check out our vanity lighting.
